The confirmed Planet Zoo 2 gameplay add-ons in the current store listings are the Deluxe Upgrade Pack and Bonus Content Pack. Deluxe adds six animal species and animal signs; Bonus adds themed visitor scenery. Steam separately lists the game's soundtrack. Check the product title says Planet Zoo 2 before buying: the original Planet Zoo's pack catalogue describes a different game.
This list was checked on 22 October 2026 against the Steam store and Epic Games store. It covers the confirmed extras in those listings, rather than predicting future expansion packs.
Confirmed add-ons and what they contain
| Product | What it adds | How to distinguish it |
|---|---|---|
| Planet Zoo 2: Deluxe Upgrade Pack | Six additional animal species and exclusive animal signs | The animal expansion included with Deluxe Edition |
| Planet Zoo 2: Bonus Content Pack | Toucan Eat Shop and Signage, three unique animal donation bins, and a Tiger Photo Stand-In Wall | A scenery pack, rather than six more animals |
| You, Me & Sanctuary, The Music of Planet Zoo 2 | The game's soundtrack | Listed separately on Steam; not an animal or scenery pack |
Steam groups all three under its content listing. That storefront grouping does not mean the soundtrack unlocks extra animals. Likewise, the Bonus Content Pack's animal-themed donation bins are scenery items, not additional species.
Deluxe Upgrade Pack animal list
The official edition contents name these six additions:
- Golden Eagle
- Golden Lion Tamarin
- Great Hammerhead Shark
- Axolotl
- Blue and Gold Fusilier
- Longfin Batfish

The Golden Lion Tamarin is one of the six species in the Deluxe Upgrade Pack.
The pack also includes exclusive animal signs for zoo decoration. Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with the Deluxe Upgrade Pack; the upgrade is also listed separately for players comparing add-ons after buying the base game.
The important distinction is ownership of the pack, rather than buying the same species twice through two differently named products. If you already own Deluxe Edition, check your existing contents before purchasing a separate Deluxe Upgrade Pack. For the broader Standard-versus-Deluxe decision, use the dedicated Deluxe comparison linked below.
Bonus Content Pack scenery
The Bonus Content Pack contains three groups of decorations:
- Toucan Eat Shop and Signage: the named themed shop and its signs.
- Three unique animal donation bins: additional themed bin designs.
- Tiger Photo Stand-In Wall: the named photo decoration.

The Bonus Content Pack adds three themed donation bin designs; these decorations are separate from the Deluxe animal roster.
The official edition page still contains preorder wording for this bonus. The current Epic and Steam listings also offer it as a separate add-on. Do not use that old preorder wording as proof that every new Standard or Deluxe purchase automatically includes it: check the contents attached to your specific offer and account.
Buying the Bonus Content Pack is a different decision from buying the six Deluxe species. Choose the pack for the listed scenery, rather than expecting a new animal roster, a reserve or a career chapter that its description does not include.
Pack prices in the checked PC listings
The US-dollar listings checked on 22 October 2026 showed the following separate prices on Steam and Epic:
| Add-on | Listed price |
|---|---|
| Deluxe Upgrade Pack | $17.99 |
| Bonus Content Pack | $2.99 |
Steam additionally listed the soundtrack at $9.99. These are dated storefront observations, not a lowest-price comparison or a promise of the price in another country or on a console. Confirm the current price, platform and included items on the storefront where you intend to use the content.
Future DLC and original-game packs
The checked listings establish the products above. They do not establish a release calendar for future animal, reserve or scenery packs. Community wishlists and proposed pack names should not be treated as announced products or preorder opportunities.
When a search result leads to a page headed simply Planet Zoo, verify the game's name before using its animal list, purchase link or compatibility information. This page does not treat the original game's DLC catalogue as a list of Planet Zoo 2 add-ons, and the checked descriptions do not establish a transfer entitlement for previously purchased original-game packs.
Before paying, compare three details: the game named on the product, the platform or storefront, and the contents you already own. That check is particularly useful when Deluxe Edition, Deluxe Upgrade Pack and Bonus Content Pack appear next to one another in a store.
